What is Domain Validation ?
Description of Domain Validation
The validation process for the domain validated (DV) certification is very simple. Domain validation can include emails or
phone calls to the contacts listed in a domain's whereas record, as well as emails to default administrative location at the
domain. For example, we may send an authorization email to administrator@domain.com but would not send for authorization.
The sole criteria for a domain validation certificate is proof of control over who is records, DNS records file, email or web
hosting account of a domain. Typically handle over a domain is determined using one of the following: Response to email sent
to the email contact in the domains who has details. Here, the user only needs to prove the domain ownership to the certification
authority (CA). SSL certification authority may ask for email
verification, & file base verification.
